The Inn at Robbins Brook has 58 experienced staff members whose primary focus is to provide the highest level of care to residents. The passionate executive staff has over 90 years of healthcare and/or experience working with seniors.

Christine Smith

Christine Smith, Executive Director

Christine Smith has over twenty years of occupational therapy practice in various clinical and educational settings. Her energy and enthusiasm has created a strong sense of community for residents and staff.

As Executive Director for of The Inn at Robbins Brook, Christine is responsible for managing all aspects of operations. She joins the community from Forge Hill Senior Living Community, The Inn’s sister facility located in Franklin, MA, where she was RoseLane Director. There, she oversaw the Alzheimer's/Memory Impairment Program, working with individual residents and families to strive for continuous improvement in their health. Her experience has included working for Blair House of Milford’s Adult Day Health Program, as a Clinical Specialist for Memorial Hospital’s Notre Dame Ambulatory Care in Pawtucket, RI where she provided direct patient care and previously provided therapy and rehabilitation for patients at Meriden Huron Hospital, Shaughnessy Rehabilitation Hospital and Jewish Rehabilitation Center.

She is NBCOT and CPR certified and is licensed to provide occupational therapy in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She lives in Uxbridge with her husband and two children.

Sheila Sussman

Sheila Sussman, RN
Director of Resident Services

Sheila Sussman has nearly 35 years of professional nursing experience in women's health and public health working for hospitals and industrial sites. Her tremendous experience coupled with her compassionate and supportive nature has created a strong nursing department at the Inn.

As Director of Resident Services for The Inn at Robbins Brook, Sheila oversees all residents' health needs from care plans to consultations with families and physicians as well as managing the nursing staff. Before joining The Inn, she was a Staff Nurse for the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, MA working in the Medical/Surgical and Transitional Care Units and previously worked as a Staff Nurse for the Marlborough Hospital Women's Health Center for 10 years. She has also worked for Digital Equipment Corporation and the Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Sheila received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed an RN Refresher Program at Boston College. She is certified by Lunar to perform bone density tests and has facilitated the breast cancer support group at Marlborough Hospital for 19 years. A New York native, she now lives in Marlboro, MA with her husband.

Reshma Nair

Reshma Nair, RoseLane Director

Reshma Nair has 5 years of experience in healthcare, as a doctor in her native India and as a professor. Her enthusiasm and passion for caring for seniors has made her a cherished staff member.

As the RoseLane Program Director, Reshma is responsible for overseeing the Alzheimer's/Memory Impairment Program including continuously evaluating and improving upon the program in light of new research and developments and working with individual residents and families to strive for continuous improvement. Before joining The Inn at Robbins Brook, she taught Medical Assistant courses for Hesser College in Manchester, NH, a division of Kaplan Education Group. Her background has included being Chair of the Medical Assistant Program at Seacoast Career Schools in Manchester, NH, teaching at McIntosh College in Dover, NH and founding and managing a medical clinic in India.

Reshma received her B.A.M.S. (equivalent to an M.D.) with a specialty in alternative medicine from B.V.D. College of Medicine in Pune, India. She is registered with the Council of Indian Medicine and is an American Red Cross Certified Instructor. She lives in Nashua, NH with her husband and daughter.

Maura Capriccio

Maura Capriccio
Marketing Director

Maura Capriccio has 20 years of experience helping seniors and their families to prepare for the future. Her 18 years of personal experience being the primary caregiver for her own parents as well as her professional financial planning experience helps area families to design a tailor-made living situation at The Inn at Robbins Brook.

As Marketing Director for the Inn, she works with local community and advocacy groups as well as hospitals, medical providers and rehabilitation facilities. In addition, she is responsible for marketing the Inn, working with residents and prospects through the application process and creating a home where residents can thrive. Prior to joining The Inn at Robbins Brook, Maura was a Financial Advisor for Strategic Financial Partners in Waltham, MA where she specialized in elder care and long term care planning.

Maura received a degree in Allied Health from Northeastern University. She is the New England Regional Director for the National Family Caregivers Association where she advocates for and supports caregivers. Maura lives in Westford with her husband and has three grown children.

David Dimario

David Dimario, Director of Dining Services

David Dimario has over 28 years of experience in food service, including 12 years cooking in healthcare.

As the Director of Dining Services for The Inn at Robbins Brook, he is responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including creating menus, making accommodations for special diets and expediting meals. David joins the community from the Heritage at Danvers, an assisted living community where he was Food Service Director. His experience has included food service positions at Haverhill Crossings, a Benchmark Assisted Living Community and Atria Merrimack Place, an assisted living community in Newburyport, MA.

He attended Johnson & Wales College, a nationally recognized leader in culinary arts, and lives in Lawrence, MA.
